By <ref href=\"/us/act/1954-06-24/ch410/s2/a\">act June 24, 1954, ch. 410, § 2(a)</ref>, <ref href=\"/us/stat/68/320\">68 Stat. 320</ref>, <ref href=\"/us/usc/t15/s609\">section 609 of Title 15</ref>, Commerce and Trade, the Secretary of the Treasury was authorized to liquidate the Reconstruction Finance Corporation. Section 6(a) of Reorg.
