Information provided to the Bureau of Economic Analysis by the Bureau of the Census shall be only those data collected directly from respondents by the Bureau of the Census.</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\" id=\"id8da7f42d-f67c-11e5-ab1c-cd1d2297a863\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t13/s401/b\"><num value=\"b\">(b)</num><heading> <inline class=\"small-caps\">Requests for Information</inline>.—</heading><content>The Director of the Bureau requesting information under this section shall make the request in writing and shall certify that the information will be used only for statistical activities performed to improve the quality of data collected under the authority of title 13, United States Code, and the International Investment and Trade in Services Survey Act.</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\" id=\"id8da7f42e-f67c-11e5-ab1c-cd1d2297a863\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t13/s401/c\"><num value=\"c\">(c)</num><heading> <inline class=\"small-caps\">Definition</inline>.—</heading><content>As used in subsection (a), the terms “business enterprise” and “United States” have the meanings given those terms in section 3 of the International Investment and Trade in Services Survey Act.</content>\n</subsection>\n<sourceCredit id=\"id8da7f42f-f67c-11e5-ab1c-cd1d2297a863\">(Added <ref href=\"/us/pl/101/533\">Pub.
