L. 109–177, title III, § 306(a), Mar. 9, 2006, 120 Stat. 239.)","seq_in_title":845,"parent_identifier":"/us/usc/t18/ptI/ch111A","ancestors":[{"identifier":"/us/usc/t18","level":"title","num":"Title 18—","heading":"CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t18/ptI","level":"part","num":"PART I—","heading":"CRIMES","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t18/ptI/ch111A","level":"chapter","num":"CHAPTER 111A—","heading":"DESTRUCTION OF, OR INTERFERENCE WITH, VESSELS OR MARITIME FACILITIES","status":null,"is_section":false}],"xml":"<section xmlns=\"http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0\" xmlns:xsi=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance\" xmlns:dc=\"http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/\" xmlns:dcterms=\"http://purl.org/dc/terms/\" style=\"-uslm-lc:I80\" id=\"idd3be1ae0-b211-11e9-bc44-d051d0f40dfd\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t18/s2293\"><num value=\"2293\">§ 2293.</num><heading> Bar to prosecution</heading><subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\" id=\"idd3be1ae1-b211-11e9-bc44-d051d0f40dfd\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t18/s2293/a\"><num value=\"a\">(a)</num><heading> <inline class=\"small-caps\">In General</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>It is a bar to prosecution under this chapter if—</chapeau><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idd3be1ae2-b211-11e9-bc44-d051d0f40dfd\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t18/s2293/a/1\"><num value=\"1\">(1)</num><content> the conduct in question occurred within the United States in relation to a labor dispute, and such conduct is prohibited as a felony under the law of the State in which it was committed; or</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idd3be1ae3-b211-11e9-bc44-d051d0f40dfd\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t18/s2293/a/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><content> such conduct is prohibited as a misdemeanor, and not as a felony, under the law of the State in which it was committed.</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\" id=\"idd3be1ae4-b211-11e9-bc44-d051d0f40dfd\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t18/s2293/b\"><num value=\"b\">(b)</num><heading> <inline class=\"small-caps\">Definitions</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>In this section:</chapeau><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idd3be1ae5-b211-11e9-bc44-d051d0f40dfd\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t18/s2293/b/1\"><num value=\"1\">(1)</num><heading> <inline class=\"small-caps\">Labor dispute</inline>.—</heading><content>The term “labor dispute” has the same meaning given that term in section 13(c) of the Act to amend the Judicial Code and to define and limit the jurisdiction of courts sitting in equity, and for other purposes (<ref href=\"/us/usc/t29/s113/c\">29 U.S.C. 113(c)</ref>, commonly known as the Norris-LaGuardia Act).</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idd3be1ae6-b211-11e9-bc44-d051d0f40dfd\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t18/s2293/b/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><heading> <inline class=\"small-caps\">State</inline>.—</heading><content>The term “State” means a State of the United States, the District of Columbia, and any commonwealth, territory, or possession of the United States.</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<sourceCredit id=\"idd3be41f7-b211-11e9-bc44-d051d0f40dfd\">(Added <ref href=\"/us/pl/109/177/tIII/s306/a\">Pub.
