<p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">The Attorney General may request the Secretary of Defense to provide assistance under <ref href="/us/usc/t10/s382">section 382 of title 10</ref> <ref class="footnoteRef" idref="fn002189">1</ref><note type="footnote" id="fn002189"><num>1</num> See References in Text note below.</note> in support of Department of Justice activities relating to the enforcement of <ref href="/us/usc/t18/s2332a">section 2332a of this title</ref> during an emergency situation involving a weapon of mass destruction. The authority to make such a request may be exercised by another official of the Department of Justice in accordance with <ref href="/us/usc/t10/s382/f/2">section 382(f)(2) of title 10</ref>.<ref class="footnoteRef" idref="fn002189">1</ref></p>
