<chapeau style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">In this chapter—</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id7529db9b-3b28-11eb-ad8c-9fba61cd9daf" identifier="/us/usc/t18/s2725/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> “motor vehicle record” means any record that pertains to a motor vehicle operator’s permit, motor vehicle title, motor vehicle registration, or identification card issued by a department of motor vehicles;</content>

<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id7529db9c-3b28-11eb-ad8c-9fba61cd9daf" identifier="/us/usc/t18/s2725/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> “person” means an individual, organization or entity, but does not include a State or agency thereof;</content>

<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id7529db9d-3b28-11eb-ad8c-9fba61cd9daf" identifier="/us/usc/t18/s2725/3"><num value="3">(3)</num><content> “personal information” means information that identifies an individual, including an individual’s photograph, social security number, driver identification number, name, address (but not the 5-digit zip code), telephone number, and medical or disability information, but does not include information on vehicular accidents, driving violations, and driver’s status.<ref class="footnoteRef" idref="fn002207">1</ref><note type="footnote" id="fn002207"><num>1</num> So in original. <paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id7529db9e-3b28-11eb-ad8c-9fba61cd9daf" identifier="/us/usc/t18/s2725/4"><num value="4">(4)</num><content> “highly restricted personal information” means an individual’s photograph or image, social security number, medical or disability information; and</content>
