<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id7554bce6-3b28-11eb-ad8c-9fba61cd9daf" identifier="/us/usc/t18/s3604"><num value="3604">§ 3604.</num><heading> Transportation of a probationer</heading>
<chapeau style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">A court, after imposing a sentence of probation, may direct a United States marshal to furnish the probationer with—</chapeau><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id7554bce7-3b28-11eb-ad8c-9fba61cd9daf" identifier="/us/usc/t18/s3604/a"><num value="a">(a)</num><content> transportation to the place to which he is required to proceed as a condition of his probation; and</content>
</subsection>
<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id7554bce8-3b28-11eb-ad8c-9fba61cd9daf" identifier="/us/usc/t18/s3604/b"><num value="b">(b)</num><content> money, not to exceed such amount as the Attorney General may prescribe, for subsistence expenses while traveling to his destination.</content>
