<chapeau style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">As used in chapters 227 and 229—</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id755e3285-3b28-11eb-ad8c-9fba61cd9daf" identifier="/us/usc/t18/s3673/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> the term “found guilty” includes acceptance by a court of a plea of guilty or nolo contendere;</content>

<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id755e3286-3b28-11eb-ad8c-9fba61cd9daf" identifier="/us/usc/t18/s3673/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> the term “commission of an offense” includes the attempted commission of an offense, the consummation of an offense, and any immediate flight after the commission of an offense; and</content>

<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id755e3287-3b28-11eb-ad8c-9fba61cd9daf" identifier="/us/usc/t18/s3673/3"><num value="3">(3)</num><content> the term “law enforcement officer” means a public servant authorized by law or by a government agency to engage in or supervise the prevention, detection, investigation, or prosecution of an offense.</content>
