<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="idd409c935-b211-11e9-bc44-d051d0f40dfd" identifier="/us/usc/t18/s3682"><num value="3682">§ 3682.</num><heading> Notice to victims of order of special forfeiture</heading>
<chapeau style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">The United States attorney shall, within thirty days after the imposition of an order under this chapter and at such other times as the Attorney General may require, publish in a newspaper of general circulation in the district in which the offense for which a defendant was convicted occurred, a notice that states—</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idd409c936-b211-11e9-bc44-d051d0f40dfd" identifier="/us/usc/t18/s3682/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> the name of, and other identifying information about, the defendant;</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idd409c937-b211-11e9-bc44-d051d0f40dfd" identifier="/us/usc/t18/s3682/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> the offense for which the defendant was convicted; and</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idd409c938-b211-11e9-bc44-d051d0f40dfd" identifier="/us/usc/t18/s3682/3"><num value="3">(3)</num><content> that the court has ordered a special forfeiture of certain proceeds that may be used to satisfy a judgment obtained against the defendant by a victim of an offense for which the defendant has been convicted.</content>
