<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id7468ae92-3b28-11eb-ad8c-9fba61cd9daf" identifier="/us/usc/t18/s511A"><num value="511A">§ 511A.</num><heading> Unauthorized application of theft prevention decal or device</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="id7468ae93-3b28-11eb-ad8c-9fba61cd9daf" identifier="/us/usc/t18/s511A/a"><num value="a">(a)</num><content> Whoever affixes to a motor vehicle a theft prevention decal or other device, or a replica thereof, unless authorized to do so pursuant to the Motor Vehicle Theft Prevention Act, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $1,000.</content>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="id7468ae94-3b28-11eb-ad8c-9fba61cd9daf" identifier="/us/usc/t18/s511A/b"><num value="b">(b)</num><content> For purposes of this section, the term “theft prevention decal or device” means a decal or other device designed in accordance with a uniform design for such devices developed pursuant to the Motor Vehicle Theft Prevention Act.</content>
