<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id1865a38f-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b"><num value="182b">§ 182b.</num><heading> Revolving fund for gift shop, decimal classification, photo duplication, and related services</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id1865a390-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/a"><num value="a" class="bold">(a)</num><heading class="bold"> Establishment</heading><chapeau>There is hereby established in the Treasury a revolving fund for the following programs and activities of the Librarian:</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id1865a391-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/a/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> Decimal classification development.</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id1865a392-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/a/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> The operation of a gift shop or other sales of items associated with collections, exhibits, performances, and special events of the Library of Congress.</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id1865a393-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/a/3"><num value="3">(3)</num><content> Document reproduction and microfilming services.</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id1865a394-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/a/4"><num value="4">(4)</num><content> Special events and programs.</content>
</paragraph>
</subsection>
<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id1865a395-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/b"><num value="b" class="bold">(b)</num><heading class="bold"> Individual accounting requirement</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">A separate account shall be maintained in the revolving fund under this section with respect to the programs and activities described in each of the paragraphs of subsection (a) of this section.</p>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id1865a396-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/c"><num value="c" class="bold">(c)</num><heading class="bold"> Fees for services</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">The Librarian may charge a fee for services under any of the programs and activities described in subsection (a) of this section, and shall deposit any such fees charged into the account of the revolving fund under this section for such program or activity.</p>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id1865a397-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/d"><num value="d" class="bold">(d)</num><heading class="bold"> Contents of accounts in fund</heading><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I79" class="indent3 firstIndent-2" id="id1865a398-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/d/1"><num value="1" class="bold">(1)</num><heading class="bold"> In general</heading><chapeau>Each account of the revolving fund under this section shall consist of the following amounts:</chapeau><subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id1865a399-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/d/1/A"><num value="A">(A)</num><content> Amounts deposited by the Librarian under subsection (c) of this section.</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id1865a39a-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/d/1/B"><num value="B">(B)</num><content> Any other amounts received by the Librarian which are attributable to the programs and activities covered by such account.</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id1865a39b-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/d/1/C"><num value="C">(C)</num><content> Amounts deposited by the Librarian under paragraph (2).</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id1865a39c-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/d/1/D"><num value="D">(D)</num><content> Such other amounts as may be appropriated under law.</content>
</subparagraph>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I79" class="indent3 firstIndent-2" id="id1865a39d-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/d/2"><num value="2" class="bold">(2)</num><heading class="bold"> Deposit of funds during transition</heading><chapeau>The Librarian shall transfer to each account of the revolving fund under this section the following:</chapeau><subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id1865a39e-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/d/2/A"><num value="A">(A)</num><content> Any obligated, unexpended balances existing as of the date of the transfer which are attributable to the programs and activities covered by such account.</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id1865a39f-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/d/2/B"><num value="B">(B)</num><chapeau> An amount equal to the difference as of such date between—</chapeau><clause style="-uslm-lc:I14" class="indent3" id="id1865a3a0-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/d/2/B/i"><num value="i">(i)</num><content> the total value of the supplies, inventories, equipment, gift fund balances, and other assets attributable to such programs and activities; and</content>
</clause>
<clause style="-uslm-lc:I14" class="indent3" id="id1865a3a1-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/d/2/B/ii"><num value="ii">(ii)</num><content> the total value of the liabilities attributable to such programs and activities.</content>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id1865a3a2-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/e"><num value="e" class="bold">(e)</num><heading class="bold"> Use of amounts</heading><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I79" class="indent3 firstIndent-2" id="id1865a3a3-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/e/1"><num value="1" class="bold">(1)</num><heading class="bold"> In general</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1">Except as provided in paragraph (2), amounts in the accounts of the revolving fund under this section shall be available to the Librarian, in amounts specified in appropriations Acts and without fiscal year limitation, to carry out the programs and activities covered by such accounts.</p>

<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I79" class="indent3 firstIndent-2" id="id1865a3a4-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s182b/e/2"><num value="2" class="bold">(2)</num><heading class="bold"> Special rule for payments for certain Capitol Police services</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1">In the case of any amount in the revolving fund consisting of a payment received for services of the United States Capitol Police in connection with a special event or program described in subsection (a)(4), the Librarian shall transfer such amount upon receipt to the Capitol Police for deposit into the applicable appropriations accounts of the Capitol Police.</p>
