<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id193e50db-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s1871"><num value="1871">§ 1871.</num><heading> Expired appropriations available for deposit into Employees’ Compensation Fund</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id193e50dc-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s1871/a"><num value="a" class="bold">(a)</num><heading class="bold"> In general</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">Notwithstanding section 1101, available balances of expired Architect of the Capitol appropriations shall be available to the Architect of the Capitol to make the deposit to the credit of the Employees’ Compensation Fund required by <ref href="/us/usc/t5/s8147/b">section 8147(b) of title 5</ref>.</p>
