<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id052c7968-8e02-11e9-924e-8bbe14d5249c" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s1930"><num value="1930">§ 1930.</num><heading> Applicable pay rate upon appointment</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id052c7969-8e02-11e9-924e-8bbe14d5249c" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s1930/a"><num value="a" class="bold">(a)</num><heading class="bold"> In general</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the rate of basic pay payable to an individual upon appointment to a position with the Capitol Police shall be at a rate within the minimum and maximum pay rates applicable to the position.</p>
