<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id053d1bbf-8e02-11e9-924e-8bbe14d5249c" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s2202"><num value="2202">§ 2202.</num><heading> Designation and naming within the Capitol Visitor Center</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id053d1bc0-8e02-11e9-924e-8bbe14d5249c" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s2202/a"><num value="a" class="bold">(a)</num><heading class="bold"> In general</heading><chapeau>Except as provided under subsection (b), no part of the Capitol Visitor Center may be designated or named without the approval of—</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id053d1bc1-8e02-11e9-924e-8bbe14d5249c" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s2202/a/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> not less than ¾ of all members on the Capitol Preservation Commission who are members of the Democratic party; and</content>

<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id053d1bc2-8e02-11e9-924e-8bbe14d5249c" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s2202/a/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> not less than ¾ of all members on the Capitol Preservation Commission who are members of the Republican party.</content>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id053d1bc3-8e02-11e9-924e-8bbe14d5249c" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s2202/b"><num value="b" class="bold">(b)</num><heading class="bold"> Exception</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">Subsection (a) shall not apply to any room or space under the jurisdiction of the Senate or the House of Representatives.</p>
