<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id17c17418-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s54"><num value="54">§ 54.</num><heading> Annotated United States Code for Members of House of Representatives to be paid for from Members’ Representational Allowance</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id17c17419-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s54/a"><num value="a" class="bold">(a)</num><heading class="bold"> In general</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">The Clerk of the House of Representatives shall, at the request of a Member of the House of Representatives, furnish to the Member, for official use only, one set of a privately published annotated version of the United States Code, including supplements and pocket parts. The furnishing of a set of the United States Code under this section shall be in lieu of any distribution under <ref href="/us/usc/t1/s212">section 212 of title 1</ref> and shall be paid for from the Members’ Representational Allowance.</p>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id17c1741a-425e-11e3-8d4d-f11243cf9240" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s54/b"><num value="b" class="bold">(b)</num><heading class="bold"> “Member of the House of Representatives” defined</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">As used in this section, the term “Member of the House of Representatives” means a Representative in, or a Delegate or Resident Commissioner to, the Congress.</p>
