<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id5d9caaed-ec38-11e5-89e9-afe61b29b17d" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s5507"><num value="5507">§ 5507.</num><heading> Transfers of amounts appropriated for House</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id5d9caaee-ec38-11e5-89e9-afe61b29b17d" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s5507/a"><num value="a" class="bold">(a)</num><heading class="bold"> Transfers among categories of allowances and expenses</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">Amounts appropriated for any fiscal year for the House of Representatives under the heading “<inline class="small-caps">allowances and expenses</inline>” may be transferred among and merged with the various categories of allowances and expenses under such heading, effective upon the expiration of the 21-day period (or such alternative period that may be imposed by the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives) which begins on the date such Committee has been notified of the transfer.</p>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id5d9caaef-ec38-11e5-89e9-afe61b29b17d" identifier="/us/usc/t2/s5507/b"><num value="b" class="bold">(b)</num><heading class="bold"> Transfers among offices and activities</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">Amounts appropriated for any fiscal year for the House of Representatives under the heading “<inline class="small-caps">salaries, officers and employees</inline>” may be transferred among and merged with the various offices and activities under such heading, effective upon the expiration of the 21-day period (or such alternative period that may be imposed by the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives) which begins on the date such Committee has been notified of the transfer.</p>
