The Surplus Property Act of 1944 was repealed by <ref href="/us/act/1949-06-30/ch288">act June 30, 1949, ch. 288</ref>, title V, § 503, <ref href="/us/stat/63/399">63 Stat. 399</ref>, and the priorities thereunder expired <date date="1949-12-31">Dec. 31, 1949</date>.</p>
