<p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">The Secretary of the Senate on and after <date date="1958-07-31">July 31, 1958</date>, is authorized, in his discretion, to advance to the Sergeant at Arms of the Senate such sums as may be necessary, not exceeding $4,000, to meet any extraordinary expenses of the Senate.</p>
