<p style="-uslm-lc:I21" class="indent0">Sections provided for the National Training School for Girls. <ref href="/us/act/1951-08-03/ch291">Act Aug. 3, 1951, ch. 291</ref>, § 1, <ref href="/us/stat/65/154">65 Stat. 154</ref>, provided that no new commitments to the National Training School for Girls should be made after <date date="1951-08-03">Aug. 3, 1951</date>. <ref href="/us/act/1953-07-31/ch299">Act July 31, 1953, ch. 299</ref>, § 1, <ref href="/us/stat/67/286">67 Stat. 286</ref>, redesignated the National Training School for Girls as the Industrial Home School for Colored Girls and authorized construction of a new Industrial Home School for Colored Children near Laurel, Maryland. <ref href="/us/act/1954-07-01/ch449">Act July 1, 1954, ch. 449</ref>, § 1, <ref href="/us/stat/68/385">68 Stat. 385</ref>, provided that the Industrial Home School for Colored Girls shall be combined with and become a part of the Industrial Home School for Colored Children. Act <date date="1957-09-04">Sept. 4, 1957</date>, <ref href="/us/pl/85/285">Pub. L. 85–285</ref>, § 1, <ref href="/us/stat/71/610">71 Stat. 610</ref>, provided in part for the disposition of the land of the United States reserved for a site for the National Training School for Girls by the Act of <date date="1892-07-14">July 14, 1892</date> (<ref href="/us/stat/27/165">27 Stat. 165</ref>), as amended.</p>
