L. 115–224, title II, § 201(a)(5), (7), July 31, 2018, 132 Stat. 1621.)","seq_in_title":1063,"parent_identifier":"/us/usc/t20/ch44/schII/ptB","ancestors":[{"identifier":"/us/usc/t20","level":"title","num":"Title 20—","heading":"EDUCATION","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t20/ch44","level":"chapter","num":"CHAPTER 44—","heading":"CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t20/ch44/schII","level":"subchapter","num":"SUBCHAPTER II—","heading":"GENERAL PROVISIONS","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t20/ch44/schII/ptB","level":"part","num":"Part B—","heading":"State Administrative Provisions","status":null,"is_section":false}],"xml":"<section xmlns=\"http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0\" xmlns:xsi=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance\" xmlns:dc=\"http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/\" xmlns:dcterms=\"http://purl.org/dc/terms/\" style=\"-uslm-lc:I80\" id=\"id82bda861-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s2411\"><num value=\"2411\">§ 2411.</num><heading> Joint funding</heading><subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id82bda862-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s2411/a\"><num value=\"a\" class=\"bold\">(a)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> General authority</heading><chapeau style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">Funds made available to eligible agencies under this chapter may be used to provide additional funds under an applicable program if—</chapeau><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id82bda863-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s2411/a/1\"><num value=\"1\">(1)</num><content> such program otherwise meets the requirements of this chapter and the requirements of the applicable program;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id82bda864-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s2411/a/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><content> such program serves the same individuals that are served under this chapter;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id82bda865-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s2411/a/3\"><num value=\"3\">(3)</num><content> such program provides services in a coordinated manner with services provided under this chapter; and</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id82bda866-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s2411/a/4\"><num value=\"4\">(4)</num><content> such funds are used to supplement, and not supplant, funds provided from non-Federal sources.</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id82bda867-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s2411/b\"><num value=\"b\" class=\"bold\">(b)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Applicable program</heading><chapeau style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">For the purposes of this section, the term “applicable program” means any program under any of the following provisions of law:</chapeau><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id82bda868-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s2411/b/1\"><num value=\"1\">(1)</num><content> Chapters 2 and 3 of subtitle B of title I of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act [<ref href=\"/us/usc/t29/s3161\">29 U.S.C. 3161</ref> et seq., 3171 et seq.].</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id82bda869-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s2411/b/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><content> The Wagner-Peyser Act [<ref href=\"/us/usc/t29/s49\">29 U.S.C. 49</ref> et seq.].</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id82bda86a-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s2411/c\"><num value=\"c\" class=\"bold\">(c)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Use of funds as matching funds</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">For the purposes of this section, the term “additional funds” does not include funds used as matching funds.</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<sourceCredit id=\"id82bda86b-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\">(<ref href=\"/us/pl/88/210/tII/s221\">Pub.
