L. 99–498, title XV, § 1506, Oct. 17, 1986, 100 Stat. 1603.)","seq_in_title":1320,"parent_identifier":"/us/usc/t20/ch56/schI","ancestors":[{"identifier":"/us/usc/t20","level":"title","num":"Title 20—","heading":"EDUCATION","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t20/ch56","level":"chapter","num":"CHAPTER 56—","heading":"AMERICAN INDIAN, ALASKA NATIVE, AND NATIVE HAWAIIAN CULTURE AND ART DEVELOPMENT","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t20/ch56/schI","level":"subchapter","num":"SUBCHAPTER I—","heading":"AMERICAN INDIANS AND ALASKA NATIVES","status":null,"is_section":false}],"xml":"<section xmlns=\"http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0\" xmlns:xsi=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance\" xmlns:dc=\"http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/\" xmlns:dcterms=\"http://purl.org/dc/terms/\" style=\"-uslm-lc:I80\" id=\"id82dca226-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s4413\"><num value=\"4413\">§ 4413.</num><heading> Executive Board</heading><subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id82dca227-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s4413/a\"><num value=\"a\" class=\"bold\">(a)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Composition</heading><chapeau style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">The Board shall have an Executive Board composed of—</chapeau><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id82dca228-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s4413/a/1\"><num value=\"1\">(1)</num><content> the chairman of the Board;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id82dca229-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s4413/a/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><content> the vice chairman of the Board;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id82dca22a-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s4413/a/3\"><num value=\"3\">(3)</num><content> the secretary of the Board;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id82dca22b-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s4413/a/4\"><num value=\"4\">(4)</num><content> the treasurer of the Board; and</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id82dca22c-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s4413/a/5\"><num value=\"5\">(5)</num><content> an at-large member of the Board elected by the Board at its initial meeting.</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id82dca22d-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s4413/b\"><num value=\"b\" class=\"bold\">(b)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Vacancies</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">In the case of any vacancy which occurs in the position of at-large member before the expiration of such member’s term, the Board shall elect a replacement to complete that term.</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id82dca22e-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s4413/c\"><num value=\"c\" class=\"bold\">(c)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Meetings</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">The Executive Board shall hold not more than 4 regular meetings per calendar year. Special meetings may be held upon the call of the chairman or 3 members of the Executive Board.</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id82dca22f-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s4413/d\"><num value=\"d\" class=\"bold\">(d)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Quorum</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">A majority of the Executive Board shall constitute a quorum.</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id82dca230-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t20/s4413/e\"><num value=\"e\" class=\"bold\">(e)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Powers</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">The Executive Board may hold and use all the powers of the Board, subject to the approval of the Board.</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<sourceCredit id=\"id82dca231-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b\">(<ref href=\"/us/pl/99/498/tXV/s1506\">Pub.
