<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id834ca21d-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b" identifier="/us/usc/t20/s7291"><num value="7291">§ 7291.</num><heading> Awards for academic enrichment</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id834ca21e-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b" identifier="/us/usc/t20/s7291/a"><num value="a" class="bold">(a)</num><heading class="bold"> Program authorized</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">From funds reserved under <ref href="/us/usc/t20/s7251/b/2/C">section 7251(b)(2)(C) of this title</ref>, the Secretary shall award grants, contracts, or cooperative agreements, on a competitive basis, to eligible entities for the purposes of enriching the academic experience of students by promoting—</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id834ca21f-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b" identifier="/us/usc/t20/s7291/a/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> arts education for disadvantaged students and students who are children with disabilities, as described in <ref href="/us/usc/t20/s7292">section 7292 of this title</ref>;</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id834ca220-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b" identifier="/us/usc/t20/s7291/a/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> school readiness through the development and dissemination of accessible instructional programming for preschool and elementary school children and their families, as described in <ref href="/us/usc/t20/s7293">section 7293 of this title</ref>; and</content>

<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id834ca221-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b" identifier="/us/usc/t20/s7291/a/3"><num value="3">(3)</num><content> support for high-ability learners and high-ability learning, as described in <ref href="/us/usc/t20/s7294">section 7294 of this title</ref>.</content>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id834ca222-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b" identifier="/us/usc/t20/s7291/b"><num value="b" class="bold">(b)</num><heading class="bold"> Annual awards</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">The Secretary shall annually make awards to fulfill each of the purposes described in paragraphs (1) through (3) of subsection (a).</p>
