<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id83a9b690-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b" identifier="/us/usc/t20/s9576"><num value="9576">§ 9576.</num><heading> Authority to publish</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id83a9b691-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b" identifier="/us/usc/t20/s9576/a"><num value="a" class="bold">(a)</num><heading class="bold"> Publication</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">The Director may prepare and publish (including through oral presentation) such research, statistics (consistent with part C), and evaluation information and reports from any office, board, committee, and center of the Institute, as needed to carry out the priorities and mission of the Institute without the approval of the Secretary or any other office of the Department.</p>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id83a9b692-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b" identifier="/us/usc/t20/s9576/b"><num value="b" class="bold">(b)</num><heading class="bold"> Advance copies</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">The Director shall provide the Secretary and other relevant offices with an advance copy of any information to be published under this section before publication.</p>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id83a9b693-3b28-11eb-8459-b1d1037aec5b" identifier="/us/usc/t20/s9576/c"><num value="c" class="bold">(c)</num><heading class="bold"> Peer review</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">All research, statistics, and evaluation reports conducted by, or supported through, the Institute shall be subjected to rigorous peer review before being published or otherwise made available to the public.</p>
