<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" id="id1e46b5cc-f63b-11e2-8470-abc29ba29c4d" identifier="/us/usc/t21/s2103"><num value="2103">§ 2103.</num><heading> Ensuring efficient and effective communications during a recall</heading>
<chapeau style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="blockIndent0">The Secretary shall, during an ongoing recall of human or pet food regulated by the Secretary—</chapeau><paragraph class="indent1" id="id1e46dcdd-f63b-11e2-8470-abc29ba29c4d" identifier="/us/usc/t21/s2103/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> work with companies, relevant professional associations, and other organizations to collect and aggregate information pertaining to the recall;</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph class="indent1" id="id1e46dcde-f63b-11e2-8470-abc29ba29c4d" identifier="/us/usc/t21/s2103/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> use existing networks of communication, including electronic forms of information dissemination, to enhance the quality and speed of communication with the public; and</content>

<paragraph class="indent1" id="id1e46dcdf-f63b-11e2-8470-abc29ba29c4d" identifier="/us/usc/t21/s2103/3"><num value="3">(3)</num><content> post information regarding recalled human and pet foods on the Internet Web site of the Food and Drug Administration in a single location, which shall include a searchable database of recalled human foods and a searchable database of recalled pet foods, that is easily accessed and understood by the public.</content>
