E, title I, § 3102, Apr. 24, 2024, 138 Stat. 936.)","seq_in_title":746,"parent_identifier":"/us/usc/t21/ch28A/schI","ancestors":[{"identifier":"/us/usc/t21","level":"title","num":"Title 21—","heading":"FOOD AND DRUGS","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t21/ch28A","level":"chapter","num":"CHAPTER 28A—","heading":"FENTANYL ERADICATION AND NARCOTICS DETERRENCE OFF FENTANYL","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t21/ch28A/schI","level":"subchapter","num":"SUBCHAPTER I—","heading":"SANCTIONS IN RESPONSE TO NATIONAL EMERGENCY RELATING TO FENTANYL TRAFFICKING","status":null,"is_section":false}],"xml":"<section xmlns=\"http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0\" xmlns:xsi=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance\" xmlns:dc=\"http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/\" xmlns:dcterms=\"http://purl.org/dc/terms/\" style=\"-uslm-lc:I80\" id=\"ide65bb3d1-0944-11ef-904e-98e3fcd8664f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t21/s2352\"><num value=\"2352\">§ 2352.</num><heading> Use of national emergency authorities; reporting</heading><subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"ide65bb3d2-0944-11ef-904e-98e3fcd8664f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t21/s2352/a\"><num value=\"a\" class=\"bold\">(a)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> In general</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">The President may exercise all authorities provided under sections 1702 and 1704 of title 50 to carry out this subchapter.</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"ide65bb3d3-0944-11ef-904e-98e3fcd8664f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t21/s2352/b\"><num value=\"b\" class=\"bold\">(b)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Report required</heading><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"ide65bb3d4-0944-11ef-904e-98e3fcd8664f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t21/s2352/b/1\"><num value=\"1\" class=\"bold\">(1)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> In general</heading><chapeau style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">Not later than 180 days after <date date=\"2024-04-24\">April 24, 2024</date>, and annually thereafter, the President shall submit to the appropriate congressional committees a report on actions taken by the executive branch pursuant to this subchapter and any national emergency declared with respect to the trafficking of fentanyl and trade in other illicit drugs, including—</chapeau><subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"ide65bb3d5-0944-11ef-904e-98e3fcd8664f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t21/s2352/b/1/A\"><num value=\"A\">(A)</num><content> the issuance of any new or revised regulations, policies, or guidance;</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"ide65bb3d6-0944-11ef-904e-98e3fcd8664f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t21/s2352/b/1/B\"><num value=\"B\">(B)</num><content> the imposition of sanctions;</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"ide65bb3d7-0944-11ef-904e-98e3fcd8664f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t21/s2352/b/1/C\"><num value=\"C\">(C)</num><content> the collection of relevant information from outside parties;</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"ide65bb3d8-0944-11ef-904e-98e3fcd8664f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t21/s2352/b/1/D\"><num value=\"D\">(D)</num><content> the issuance or closure of general licenses, specific licenses, and statements of licensing policy by the Office of Foreign Assets Control;</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"ide65bb3d9-0944-11ef-904e-98e3fcd8664f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t21/s2352/b/1/E\"><num value=\"E\">(E)</num><content> a description of any pending enforcement cases; and</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"ide65bb3da-0944-11ef-904e-98e3fcd8664f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t21/s2352/b/1/F\"><num value=\"F\">(F)</num><content> the implementation of mitigation procedures.</content>\n</subparagraph>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"ide65bb3db-0944-11ef-904e-98e3fcd8664f\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t21/s2352/b/2\"><num value=\"2\" class=\"bold\">(2)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Form of report</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">Each report required under paragraph (1) shall be submitted in unclassified form, but may include the matters required under subparagraphs (C), (D), (E), and (F) of such paragraph in a classified annex.</p>\n</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<sourceCredit id=\"ide65bb3dc-0944-11ef-904e-98e3fcd8664f\">(<ref href=\"/us/pl/118/50/dE/tI/s3102\">Pub.
