{"identifier":"/us/usc/t21/s61","title_num":"21","num":"§ 61.","heading":"Definitions","status":null,"guid":"id139e85be-3a70-11f1-b089-c1e1e512a22d","source_credit":"(Mar. 4, 1923, ch. 262, § 1, 42 Stat. 1486.)","seq_in_title":17,"parent_identifier":"/us/usc/t21/ch3","ancestors":[{"identifier":"/us/usc/t21","level":"title","num":"Title 21—","heading":"FOOD AND DRUGS","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t21/ch3","level":"chapter","num":"CHAPTER 3—","heading":"FILLED MILK","status":null,"is_section":false}],"xml":"<section xmlns=\"http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0\" xmlns:xsi=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance\" xmlns:dc=\"http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/\" xmlns:dcterms=\"http://purl.org/dc/terms/\" style=\"-uslm-lc:I80\" id=\"id7c67479b-81bc-11eb-b838-b6993269d559\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t21/s61\"><num value=\"61\">§ 61.</num><heading> Definitions</heading>\n<chapeau style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">Whenever used in this chapter—</chapeau><subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\" id=\"id7c67479c-81bc-11eb-b838-b6993269d559\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t21/s61/a\"><num value=\"a\">(a)</num><content> The term “person” includes an individual, partnership, corporation, or association;</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\" id=\"id7c67479d-81bc-11eb-b838-b6993269d559\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t21/s61/b\"><num value=\"b\">(b)</num><content> The term “interstate or foreign commerce” means commerce (1) between any State, Territory, or possession, or the District of Columbia, and any place outside thereof; (2) between points within the same State, Territory, or possession, or within the District of Columbia, but through any place outside thereof; or (3) within any Territory or possession, or within the District of Columbia; and</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\" id=\"id7c676eae-81bc-11eb-b838-b6993269d559\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t21/s61/c\"><num value=\"c\">(c)</num><content> The term “filled milk” means any milk, cream, or skimmed milk, whether or not condensed, evaporated, concentrated, powdered, dried, or desiccated, to which has been added, or which has been blended or compounded with, any fat or oil other than milk fat, so that the resulting product is in imitation or semblance of milk, cream, or skimmed milk, whether or not condensed, evaporated, concentrated, powdered, dried, or desiccated.
