(a) and (b) which had provided, respectively, that (a) there were authorized to be appropriated $105,000,000 for the fiscal year ending <date date=\"1975-06-30\">June 30, 1975</date>, $175,000,000 for the fiscal year ending <date date=\"1976-06-30\">June 30, 1976</date>, $200,000,000 for the fiscal year ending <date date=\"1977-09-30\">September 30, 1977</date>, $188,000,000 for the fiscal year ending <date date=\"1978-09-30\">September 30, 1978</date>, $215,000,000 for the fiscal year ending <date date=\"1979-09-30\">September 30, 1979</date>, and $198,336,000 for the fiscal year ending <date date=\"1980-09-30\">September 30, 1980</date>, for the expenses of the Department of Justice in carrying out its functions under this subchapter, and that (b) no funds appropriated under any other provision of this chapter could be used for the expenses of the Department of Justice for which funds were authorized to be appropriated by former subsection (a) of this section, and removed the subsection designator (c) before “Notwithstanding”.</p>\n<p style=\"-uslm-lc:I21\" class=\"indent0\">1979—Subsec. (a). <ref href=\"/us/pl/96/132\">Pub. L. 96–132</ref>, § 15, inserted provisions authorizing appropriations of $198,336,000 for the fiscal year ending <date date=\"1980-09-30\">Sept. 30, 1980</date>.</p>\n<p style=\"-uslm-lc:I21\" class=\"indent0\">Subsec. (c). <ref href=\"/us/pl/96/132\">Pub. L. 96–132</ref>, § 13, added subsec. (c).</p>\n<p style=\"-uslm-lc:I21\" class=\"indent0\">1977—Subsec. (a). <ref href=\"/us/pl/95/137\">Pub. (a), substituted authorization of appropriations for fiscal years ending <date date=\"1975-06-30\">June 30, 1975</date>, <date date=\"1976-06-30\">June 30, 1976</date>, and <date date=\"1977-06-30\">June 30, 1977</date>, for authorization of appropriations for fiscal years ending <date date=\"1972-06-30\">June 30, 1972</date>, <date date=\"1973-06-30\">June 30, 1973</date>, and <date date=\"1974-06-30\">June 30, 1974</date>, and added subsec.
