<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="idc1c9320b-ec38-11e5-86c3-d68ad8aafe28" identifier="/us/usc/t25/s2811"><num value="2811">§ 2811.</num><heading> Native American Issues Coordinator</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="idc1c9320c-ec38-11e5-86c3-d68ad8aafe28" identifier="/us/usc/t25/s2811/a"><num value="a" class="bold">(a)</num><heading class="bold"> Establishment</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">There is established in the Executive Office for United States Attorneys of the Department of Justice a position to be known as the “Native American Issues Coordinator”.</p>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="idc1c9320d-ec38-11e5-86c3-d68ad8aafe28" identifier="/us/usc/t25/s2811/b"><num value="b" class="bold">(b)</num><heading class="bold"> Duties</heading><chapeau>The Native American Issues Coordinator shall—</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idc1c9320e-ec38-11e5-86c3-d68ad8aafe28" identifier="/us/usc/t25/s2811/b/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> coordinate with the United States Attorneys that have authority to prosecute crimes in Indian country;</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idc1c9320f-ec38-11e5-86c3-d68ad8aafe28" identifier="/us/usc/t25/s2811/b/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> coordinate prosecutions of crimes of national significance in Indian country, as determined by the Attorney General;</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idc1c93210-ec38-11e5-86c3-d68ad8aafe28" identifier="/us/usc/t25/s2811/b/3"><num value="3">(3)</num><content> coordinate as necessary with other components of the Department of Justice and any relevant advisory groups to the Attorney General or the Deputy Attorney General; and</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idc1c93211-ec38-11e5-86c3-d68ad8aafe28" identifier="/us/usc/t25/s2811/b/4"><num value="4">(4)</num><content> carry out such other duties as the Attorney General may prescribe.</content>
