<p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">The number and kind of employees at each agency shall be prescribed by the Secretary of the Interior and none other shall be employed.</p>

<p style="-uslm-lc:I21" class="indent0"><ref href="/us/act/1929-02-26/ch323">Act Feb. 26, 1929, ch. 323</ref>, <ref href="/us/stat/45/1307">45 Stat. 1307</ref>, which repealed a provision of <ref href="/us/act/1912-08-24/ch388/s1">act Aug. 24, 1912, ch. 388, § 1</ref>, <ref href="/us/stat/37/521">37 Stat. 521</ref>, imposing a salary limitation of $15,000 at any one agency and $20,000 at a consolidated agency, was itself repealed by <ref href="/us/pl/89/554/s8/a">Pub. L. 89–554, § 8(a)</ref>, <date date="1966-09-06">Sept. 6, 1966</date>, <ref href="/us/stat/80/647">80 Stat. 647</ref>.</p>
