<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id13a73cf3-f67d-11e5-bd8c-a577a4d23433" identifier="/us/usc/t28/s356"><num value="356">§ 356.</num><heading> Subpoena power</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="id13a73cf4-f67d-11e5-bd8c-a577a4d23433" identifier="/us/usc/t28/s356/a"><num value="a">(a)</num><heading> <inline class="small-caps">Judicial Councils and Special Committees</inline>.—</heading><content>In conducting any investigation under this chapter, the judicial council, or a special committee appointed under section 353, shall have full subpoena powers as provided in section 332(d).</content>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="id13a73cf5-f67d-11e5-bd8c-a577a4d23433" identifier="/us/usc/t28/s356/b"><num value="b">(b)</num><heading> <inline class="small-caps">Judicial Conference and Standing Committees</inline>.—</heading><content>In conducting any investigation under this chapter, the Judicial Conference, or a standing committee appointed by the Chief Justice under section 331, shall have full subpoena powers as provided in that section.</content>
