<note style="-uslm-lc:I74" topic="miscellaneous" id="id87072492-7057-11eb-b79d-b5a8168d24c1"><heading class="centered smallCaps">National Resources Planning Board</heading><p style="-uslm-lc:I21" class="indent0">The National Resources Planning Board was abolished <date date="1943-08-31">August 31, 1943</date>, by <ref href="/us/act/1943-06-26/ch145/tI/s1">act June 26, 1943, ch. 145, title I, § 1</ref>, <ref href="/us/stat/57/170">57 Stat. 170</ref>, and it was expressly provided that its functions were not to be transferred to any other agency, that the Director should exercise until <date date="1944-01-01">January 1, 1944</date>, such authority as was necessary to effectuate the discontinuance of the Board, and that the records and files of the Board should be transferred to the national archives.</p>
