<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id702d6f3a-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s5366"><num value="5366">§ 5366.</num><heading> Criminal penalties</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="id702d6f3b-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s5366/a"><num value="a">(a)</num><heading> <inline class="small-caps">In General</inline>.—</heading><content>Any person who violates section 5363 shall be fined under title 18, imprisoned for not more than 5 years, or both.</content>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="id702d6f3c-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s5366/b"><num value="b">(b)</num><heading> <inline class="small-caps">Permanent Injunction</inline>.—</heading><content>Upon conviction of a person under this section, the court may enter a permanent injunction enjoining such person from placing, receiving, or otherwise making bets or wagers or sending, receiving, or inviting information assisting in the placing of bets or wagers.</content>
