<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id702fb867-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102"><num value="6102">§ 6102.</num><heading> Program information requirements</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="id702fb868-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a"><num value="a">(a)</num><chapeau> The Director shall collect and review information on domestic assistance programs and shall provide such information to the Administrator. The information on each domestic assistance program shall include the following:</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id702fb869-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><chapeau> identification of the program by—</chapeau><subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id702fb86a-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/1/A"><num value="A">(A)</num><content> title;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id702fb86b-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/1/B"><num value="B">(B)</num><content> authorizing law;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id702fb86c-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/1/C"><num value="C">(C)</num><content> administering office; and</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id702fb86d-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/1/D"><num value="D">(D)</num><content> an identifying number assigned by the Director.</content>
</subparagraph>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id702fb86e-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><chapeau> a description of the—</chapeau><subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id702fb86f-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/2/A"><num value="A">(A)</num><content> program;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id702fb870-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/2/B"><num value="B">(B)</num><content> objectives of the program;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id702fb871-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/2/C"><num value="C">(C)</num><content> types of activities financed under the program;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id702fb872-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/2/D"><num value="D">(D)</num><content> eligibility requirements;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id702fb873-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/2/E"><num value="E">(E)</num><content> types of assistance;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id702fb874-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/2/F"><num value="F">(F)</num><content> uses, and restrictions on the use, of assistance; and</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id702fb875-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/2/G"><num value="G">(G)</num><content> duties of recipients under the program.</content>
</subparagraph>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id702fb876-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/3"><num value="3">(3)</num><chapeau> a specification of each formula governing eligibility for assistance or the distribution of assistance under the program, which shall be described through the use of—</chapeau><subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id702fb877-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/3/A"><num value="A">(A)</num><content> the language used to specify each such formula in the law authorizing the program;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id702fb878-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/3/B"><num value="B">(B)</num><content> the language used to specify each such formula in any Federal rule promulgated pursuant to the law authorizing the program; or</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id702fb879-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/3/C"><num value="C">(C)</num><content> a mathematical statement which is derived from the language referred to in subparagraphs (A) and (B) of this paragraph;</content>
</subparagraph>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id702fb87a-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/4"><num value="4">(4)</num><content> a description of all data and statistical estimates used to carry out each formula specified pursuant to paragraph (3), and an identification of the sources of such data and estimates;</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id702fb87b-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/5"><num value="5">(5)</num><chapeau> financial information, including the—</chapeau><subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id702fb87c-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/5/A"><num value="A">(A)</num><content> amounts appropriated for the current fiscal year or, if unavailable, the amounts requested by the President and the amounts obligated; and</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id702fb87d-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/5/B"><num value="B">(B)</num><content> average amounts of awards made in past years.</content>
</subparagraph>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id702fb87e-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/6"><num value="6">(6)</num><content> identification of information contacts, including the administering office and regional and local offices with their addresses and telephone numbers.</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id702fb87f-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/7"><num value="7">(7)</num><chapeau> a general description of—</chapeau><subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id702fb880-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/7/A"><num value="A">(A)</num><content> the application requirements and procedures; and</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id702fb881-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/a/7/B"><num value="B">(B)</num><content> to the extent practical, an estimate of the time required to process the application.</content>
</subparagraph>
</paragraph>
</subsection>
<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="id702fb882-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/b"><num value="b">(b)</num><content> On request of the Director, an agency shall give to the Director current information on all domestic assistance programs administered by the agency. The Director shall be responsible for ensuring that the Administrator incorporates all relevant information received on a regular basis.</content>
</subsection>
<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="id702fdf93-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/c"><num value="c">(c)</num><chapeau> The Administrator—</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id702fdf94-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/c/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> shall ensure that information and catalogs under this chapter are made available to the public at reasonable prices;</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id702fdf95-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/c/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> may develop information services to assist State and local governments in identifying and obtaining sources of assistance;</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id702fdf96-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/c/3"><num value="3">(3)</num><content> shall ensure that the information in the computerized system is made current on a regular basis and that the printed catalog and supplements thereto contain the most current data available at the time of printing; and</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id702fdf97-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517" identifier="/us/usc/t31/s6102/c/4"><num value="4">(4)</num><content> shall transmit annually the information compiled under paragraphs (3) and (4) of subsection (a) to the Committee on Government Operations of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Governmental Affairs of the Senate.</content>
