To the extent practicable, such categories shall be consistently constituted from year to year. The report shall be in the form described in subsection (b) and shall be based on the data referred to in subsection (c).</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\" id=\"id7030a33a-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t31/s6202/b\"><num value=\"b\">(b)</num><chapeau> The Director shall include in each report required by subsection (a)—</chapeau><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id7030a33b-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t31/s6202/b/1\"><num value=\"1\">(1)</num><content> the total amount of Federal funds that were reported obligated for expenditure in each State, county or parish, congressional district, and municipality of the United States in appropriate general categories of Federal funds in the fiscal year preceding the fiscal year in which the report is made; or</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id7030a33c-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t31/s6202/b/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><content> the total amount of Federal funds that were reported actually expended in each State, county or parish, congressional district, and municipality of the United States in appropriate categories in the fiscal year preceding the fiscal year in which the report is made.</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\" id=\"id7030a33d-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t31/s6202/c\"><num value=\"c\">(c)</num><chapeau> The report required by subsection (a) shall be based on the data included in—</chapeau><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id7030a33e-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t31/s6202/c/1\"><num value=\"1\">(1)</num><content> the Federal assistance awards data system established pursuant to <ref href=\"/us/usc/t31/s6102a\">section 6102a of this title</ref>;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id7030a33f-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t31/s6202/c/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><content> the Federal procurement data system established pursuant to <ref href=\"/us/usc/t41/s1122/a/4\">section 1122(a)(4) of title 41</ref>;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id7030a340-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t31/s6202/c/3\"><num value=\"3\">(3)</num><content> the appropriate data files of the Office of Personnel Management;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id7030a341-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t31/s6202/c/4\"><num value=\"4\">(4)</num><content> the payroll, pension, and grants files of the Office of the Secretary of Defense;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id7030a342-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t31/s6202/c/5\"><num value=\"5\">(5)</num><content> the appropriate data files of the United States Postal Service and the Postal Regulatory Commission;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id7030a343-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t31/s6202/c/6\"><num value=\"6\">(6)</num><content> the data system used by the Bureau of the Census to prepare the annual Federal aid to States report;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id7030a344-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t31/s6202/c/7\"><num value=\"7\">(7)</num><content> the retirement and disability files of the United States Coast Guard, the Tennessee Valley Authority, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service, the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the Foreign Service;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id7030a345-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t31/s6202/c/8\"><num value=\"8\">(8)</num><content> the insurance claims files of the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Agriculture;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id7030a346-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t31/s6202/c/9\"><num value=\"9\">(9)</num><content> the grants files of the Legal Services Corporation;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id7030a347-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t31/s6202/c/10\"><num value=\"10\">(10)</num><content> the excess earned income tax credit file of the Internal Revenue Service;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id7030a348-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t31/s6202/c/11\"><num value=\"11\">(11)</num><content> the appropriate data files of the National Railroad Passenger Corporation; and</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id7030a349-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t31/s6202/c/12\"><num value=\"12\">(12)</num><content> the payroll file of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\" id=\"id7030a34a-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t31/s6202/d\"><num value=\"d\">(d)</num><content> For the purposes of subsection (b), the general categories of Federal funds presented in each report required by subsection (a) shall include data with respect to grants, loans, purchases and contracts, cooperative agreements, direct Federal payments to individuals, pay of civilian employees of the Government, military pay, annuities, retirement pay, pensions, and disability compensation.</content>\n</subsection>\n<sourceCredit id=\"id7030a34b-b854-11e9-b72c-a5fb66e51517\">(Added <ref href=\"/us/pl/99/547/s2/a\">Pub.
