<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="idefa0b4e3-6f68-11ea-8b79-d73ede79ceed" identifier="/us/usc/t32/s508"><num value="508">§ 508.</num><heading> Assistance for certain youth and charitable organizations</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="idefa0b4e4-6f68-11ea-8b79-d73ede79ceed" identifier="/us/usc/t32/s508/a"><num value="a">(a)</num><heading> <inline class="small-caps">Authority To Provide Services</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>Members and units of the National Guard may provide the services described in subsection (b) to an eligible organization in conjunction with training required under this chapter in any case in which—</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idefa0b4e5-6f68-11ea-8b79-d73ede79ceed" identifier="/us/usc/t32/s508/a/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> the provision of such services does not adversely affect the quality of that training or otherwise interfere with the ability of a member or unit of the National Guard to perform the military functions of the member or unit;</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idefa0b4e6-6f68-11ea-8b79-d73ede79ceed" identifier="/us/usc/t32/s508/a/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> the services to be provided are not commercially available, or any commercial entity that would otherwise provide such services has approved, in writing, the provision of such services by the National Guard;</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idefa0dbf7-6f68-11ea-8b79-d73ede79ceed" identifier="/us/usc/t32/s508/a/3"><num value="3">(3)</num><content> National Guard personnel will enhance their military skills as a result of providing such services; and</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idefa0dbf8-6f68-11ea-8b79-d73ede79ceed" identifier="/us/usc/t32/s508/a/4"><num value="4">(4)</num><content> the provision of the services will not result in a significant increase in the cost of the training.</content>
</paragraph>
</subsection>
<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="idefa0dbf9-6f68-11ea-8b79-d73ede79ceed" identifier="/us/usc/t32/s508/b"><num value="b">(b)</num><heading> <inline class="small-caps">Authorized Services</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>The services authorized to be provided under subsection (a) are as follows:</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idefa0dbfa-6f68-11ea-8b79-d73ede79ceed" identifier="/us/usc/t32/s508/b/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> Ground transportation.</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idefa0dbfb-6f68-11ea-8b79-d73ede79ceed" identifier="/us/usc/t32/s508/b/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> Air transportation in support of Special Olympics.</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idefa0dbfc-6f68-11ea-8b79-d73ede79ceed" identifier="/us/usc/t32/s508/b/3"><num value="3">(3)</num><content> Administrative support services.</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idefa0dbfd-6f68-11ea-8b79-d73ede79ceed" identifier="/us/usc/t32/s508/b/4"><num value="4">(4)</num><content> Technical training services.</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idefa0dbfe-6f68-11ea-8b79-d73ede79ceed" identifier="/us/usc/t32/s508/b/5"><num value="5">(5)</num><content> Emergency medical assistance and services.</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idefa1030f-6f68-11ea-8b79-d73ede79ceed" identifier="/us/usc/t32/s508/b/6"><num value="6">(6)</num><content> Communications services.</content>
</paragraph>
</subsection>
<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="idefa10310-6f68-11ea-8b79-d73ede79ceed" identifier="/us/usc/t32/s508/c"><num value="c">(c)</num><heading> <inline class="small-caps">Other Authorized Assistance</inline>.—</heading><content>Facilities and equipment of the National Guard, including military property of the United States issued to the National Guard and General Services Administration vehicles leased to the National Guard, and General Services Administration vehicles leased to the Department of Defense, may be used in connection with providing services to any eligible organization under this section.</content>
</subsection>
<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="idefa10311-6f68-11ea-8b79-d73ede79ceed" identifier="/us/usc/t32/s508/d"><num value="d">(d)</num><heading> <inline class="small-caps">Eligible Organizations</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>The organizations eligible to receive services under this section are as follows:</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idefa10312-6f68-11ea-8b79-d73ede79ceed" identifier="/us/usc/t32/s508/d/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> The Boy Scouts of America.</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idefa10313-6f68-11ea-8b79-d73ede79ceed" identifier="/us/usc/t32/s508/d/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> The Girl Scouts of America.</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idefa10314-6f68-11ea-8b79-d73ede79ceed" identifier="/us/usc/t32/s508/d/3"><num value="3">(3)</num><content> The Boys Clubs of America.</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idefa10315-6f68-11ea-8b79-d73ede79ceed" identifier="/us/usc/t32/s508/d/4"><num value="4">(4)</num><content> The Girls Clubs of America.</content>
</paragraph>
