L. 116–259, title V, § 504(b)(1), Dec. 23, 2020, 134 Stat. 1180.)","seq_in_title":756,"parent_identifier":"/us/usc/t33/ch17/schVI","ancestors":[{"identifier":"/us/usc/t33","level":"title","num":"Title 33—","heading":"NAVIGATION AND NAVIGABLE WATERS","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t33/ch17","level":"chapter","num":"CHAPTER 17—","heading":"NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t33/ch17/schVI","level":"subchapter","num":"SUBCHAPTER VI—","heading":"SEXUAL HARASSMENT AND ASSAULT PREVENTION","status":null,"is_section":false}],"xml":"<section xmlns=\"http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0\" xmlns:xsi=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance\" xmlns:dc=\"http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/\" xmlns:dcterms=\"http://purl.org/dc/terms/\" style=\"-uslm-lc:I80\" id=\"idf7799db1-7fa0-11ec-a5f9-97666333c8cd\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t33/s894e\"><num value=\"894e\">§ 894e.</num><heading> Annual report on sexual assaults in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration</heading><subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idf7799db2-7fa0-11ec-a5f9-97666333c8cd\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t33/s894e/a\"><num value=\"a\" class=\"bold\">(a)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> In general</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">Not later than January 15 of each year, the Secretary of Commerce shall submit to the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate and the Committee on Natural Resources of the House of Representatives a report on the sexual assaults involving employees of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, members of the commissioned officer corps of the Administration, and individuals who work with or conduct business on behalf of the Administration.</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idf7799db3-7fa0-11ec-a5f9-97666333c8cd\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t33/s894e/b\"><num value=\"b\" class=\"bold\">(b)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Contents</heading><chapeau style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">Each report submitted under subsection (a) shall include, with respect to the previous calendar year, the following:</chapeau><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idf7799db4-7fa0-11ec-a5f9-97666333c8cd\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t33/s894e/b/1\"><num value=\"1\">(1)</num><content> The number of alleged sexual assaults involving employees, members, and individuals described in subsection (a).</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idf7799db5-7fa0-11ec-a5f9-97666333c8cd\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t33/s894e/b/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><content> A synopsis of each case and the disciplinary action taken, if any, in each case.</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idf7799db6-7fa0-11ec-a5f9-97666333c8cd\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t33/s894e/b/3\"><num value=\"3\">(3)</num><content> The policies, procedures, and processes implemented by the Secretary, and any updates or revisions to such policies, procedures, and processes.</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idf7799db7-7fa0-11ec-a5f9-97666333c8cd\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t33/s894e/b/4\"><num value=\"4\">(4)</num><content> A summary of the reports received by the Under Secretary for Oceans and Atmosphere under <ref href=\"/us/usc/t33/s894/f\">section 894(f) of this title</ref>.</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"idf7799db8-7fa0-11ec-a5f9-97666333c8cd\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t33/s894e/c\"><num value=\"c\" class=\"bold\">(c)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Privacy protection</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">In preparing and submitting a report under subsection (a), the Secretary shall ensure that no individual involved in an alleged sexual assault can be identified by the contents of the report.</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<sourceCredit id=\"idf7799db9-7fa0-11ec-a5f9-97666333c8cd\">(<ref href=\"/us/pl/114/328/dC/tXXXV/s3548\">Pub.
