<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id26302948-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s10361"><num value="10361">§ 10361.</num><heading> Grant authorization</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id26302949-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s10361/a"><num value="a" class="bold">(a)</num><heading class="bold"> In general</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">The Director of the Bureau of Justice Assistance may make grants under this subchapter to States, for the use by States, and local entities in the States to develop, implement, and enforce criminal interstate child support legislation and coordinate criminal interstate child support enforcement efforts.</p>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id2630294a-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s10361/b"><num value="b" class="bold">(b)</num><heading class="bold"> Uses of funds</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">Funds distributed under this subchapter shall be used to—</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id2630505b-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s10361/b/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> develop a comprehensive assessment of existing criminal interstate child support enforcement efforts, including the identification of gaps in, and barriers to, the enforcement of such efforts;</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id2630505c-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s10361/b/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> plan and implement comprehensive long-range strategies for criminal interstate child support enforcement;</content>

<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id2630505d-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s10361/b/3"><num value="3">(3)</num><content> reach an agreement within the State regarding the priorities of such State in the enforcement of criminal interstate child support legislation;</content>

<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id2630505e-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s10361/b/4"><num value="4">(4)</num><content> develop a plan to implement such priorities; and</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id2630505f-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s10361/b/5"><num value="5">(5)</num><content> coordinate criminal interstate child support enforcement efforts.</content>
