L. 109–271, §§ 2(d), 8(b), Aug. 12, 2006, 120 Stat. 752, 766.)","seq_in_title":127,"parent_identifier":"/us/usc/t34/stI/ch101/schXIX","ancestors":[{"identifier":"/us/usc/t34","level":"title","num":"Title 34—","heading":"CRIME CONTROL AND LAW ENFORCEMENT","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t34/stI","level":"subtitle","num":"Subtitle I—","heading":"Comprehensive Acts","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t34/stI/ch101","level":"chapter","num":"CHAPTER 101—","heading":"JUSTICE SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t34/stI/ch101/schXIX","level":"subchapter","num":"SUBCHAPTER XIX—","heading":"GRANTS TO COMBAT VIOLENT CRIMES AGAINST WOMEN","status":null,"is_section":false}],"xml":"<section xmlns=\"http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0\" xmlns:xsi=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance\" xmlns:dc=\"http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/\" xmlns:dcterms=\"http://purl.org/dc/terms/\" style=\"-uslm-lc:I80\" id=\"id263f4532-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s10448\"><num value=\"10448\">§ 10448.</num><heading> General terms and conditions</heading><subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id263f4533-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s10448/a\"><num value=\"a\" class=\"bold\">(a)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Nonmonetary assistance</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">In addition to the assistance provided under this subchapter, the Attorney General may request any Federal agency to use its authorities and the resources granted to it under Federal law (including personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, and managerial, technical, and advisory services) in support of State, tribal, and local assistance efforts.</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id263f4534-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s10448/b\"><num value=\"b\" class=\"bold\">(b)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Reporting</heading><chapeau style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">Not later than 1 month after the end of each even-numbered fiscal year, the Attorney General shall submit to the Committee on the Judiciary of the House of Representatives and the Committee on the Judiciary of the Senate a report that includes, for each State and for each grantee Indian tribe—</chapeau><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id263f4535-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s10448/b/1\"><num value=\"1\">(1)</num><content> the number of grants made and funds distributed under this subchapter;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id263f4536-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s10448/b/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><content> a summary of the purposes for which those grants were provided and an evaluation of their progress;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id263f4537-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s10448/b/3\"><num value=\"3\">(3)</num><content> a statistical summary of persons served, detailing the nature of victimization, and providing data on age, sex, relationship of victim to offender, geographic distribution, race, ethnicity, language, and disability, and the membership of persons served in any underserved population; and</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id263f4538-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s10448/b/4\"><num value=\"4\">(4)</num><content> an evaluation of the effectiveness of programs funded under this subchapter.</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id263f4539-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s10448/c\"><num value=\"c\" class=\"bold\">(c)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Regulations or guidelines</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">Not later than 120 days after <date date=\"1994-09-13\">September 13, 1994</date>, the Attorney General shall publish proposed regulations or guidelines implementing this subchapter.
