<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id26780811-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s11273"><num value="11273">§ 11273.</num><heading> Reports</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id26780812-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s11273/a"><num value="a" class="bold">(a)</num><heading class="bold"> In general</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">Not later than <date date="2000-04-01">April 1, 2000</date>, and biennially thereafter, the Secretary shall submit, to the Committee on Education and the Workforce of the House of Representatives and the Committee on the Judiciary of the Senate, a report on the status, activities, and accomplishments of entities that receive grants under parts A, B, C, D, and E, with particular attention to—</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id26780813-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s11273/a/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><chapeau> in the case of centers funded under part A, the ability or effectiveness of such centers in—</chapeau><subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id26780814-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s11273/a/1/A"><num value="A">(A)</num><content> alleviating the problems of runaway and homeless youth;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id26780815-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s11273/a/1/B"><num value="B">(B)</num><content> if applicable or appropriate, reuniting such youth with their families and encouraging the resolution of intrafamily problems through counseling and other services;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id26782f26-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s11273/a/1/C"><num value="C">(C)</num><content> strengthening family relationships and encouraging stable living conditions for such youth; and</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id26782f27-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s11273/a/1/D"><num value="D">(D)</num><content> assisting such youth to decide upon a future course of action; and</content>
</subparagraph>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id26782f28-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s11273/a/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><chapeau> in the case of projects funded under part B—</chapeau><subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id26782f29-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s11273/a/2/A"><num value="A">(A)</num><content> the number and characteristics of homeless youth served by such projects;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id26782f2a-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s11273/a/2/B"><num value="B">(B)</num><content> the types of activities carried out by such projects;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id26782f2b-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s11273/a/2/C"><num value="C">(C)</num><content> the effectiveness of such projects in alleviating the problems of homeless youth;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id26782f2c-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s11273/a/2/D"><num value="D">(D)</num><content> the effectiveness of such projects in preparing homeless youth for self-sufficiency;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id26782f2d-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s11273/a/2/E"><num value="E">(E)</num><content> the effectiveness of such projects in assisting homeless youth to decide upon future education, employment, and independent living;</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id26782f2e-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s11273/a/2/F"><num value="F">(F)</num><content> the ability of such projects to encourage the resolution of intrafamily problems through counseling and development of self-sufficient living skills; and</content>
</subparagraph>
<subparagraph style="-uslm-lc:I13" class="indent2" id="id26782f2f-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s11273/a/2/G"><num value="G">(G)</num><content> activities and programs planned by such projects for the following fiscal year.</content>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id26782f30-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s11273/b"><num value="b" class="bold">(b)</num><heading class="bold"> Contents of reports</heading><chapeau style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">The Secretary shall include in each report submitted under subsection (a), summaries of—</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id26782f31-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s11273/b/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> the evaluations performed by the Secretary under <ref href="/us/usc/t34/s11277">section 11277 of this title</ref>; and</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id26785642-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s11273/b/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> descriptions of the qualifications of, and training provided to, individuals involved in carrying out such evaluations.</content>
