The resource center shall provide information and assistance to employers and labor organizations to aid in their efforts to develop and implement responses to such violence.</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id26a0ed01-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s12501/b\"><num value=\"b\" class=\"bold\">(b)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Applications</heading><chapeau style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">To be eligible to receive a grant under this section, an entity or organization shall submit an application to the Attorney General at such time, in such manner, and containing such information as the Attorney General may require, including—</chapeau><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id26a0ed02-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s12501/b/1\"><num value=\"1\">(1)</num><content> information that demonstrates that the entity or organization has nationally recognized expertise in the area of domestic or sexual violence;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id26a0ed03-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s12501/b/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><content> a plan to maximize, to the extent practicable, outreach to employers (including private companies and public entities such as public institutions of higher education and State and local governments) and labor organizations described in subsection (a) concerning developing and implementing workplace responses to assist victims of domestic or sexual violence; and</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id26a0ed04-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s12501/b/3\"><num value=\"3\">(3)</num><content> a plan for developing materials and training for materials for employers that address the needs of employees in cases of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking impacting the workplace, including the needs of underserved communities.</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id26a0ed05-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s12501/c\"><num value=\"c\" class=\"bold\">(c)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Use of grant amount</heading><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id26a0ed06-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s12501/c/1\"><num value=\"1\" class=\"bold\">(1)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> In general</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">An entity or organization that receives a grant under this section may use the funds made available through the grant for staff salaries, travel expenses, equipment, printing, and other reasonable expenses necessary to develop, maintain, and disseminate to employers and labor organizations described in subsection (a), information and assistance concerning workplace responses to assist victims of domestic or sexual violence.</p>\n</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id26a11417-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s12501/c/2\"><num value=\"2\" class=\"bold\">(2)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Responses</heading><chapeau style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">Responses referred to in paragraph (1) may include—</chapeau><subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"id26a11418-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s12501/c/2/A\"><num value=\"A\">(A)</num><content> providing training to promote a better understanding of workplace assistance to victims of domestic or sexual violence;</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"id26a11419-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s12501/c/2/B\"><num value=\"B\">(B)</num><content> providing conferences and other educational opportunities; and</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"id26a1141a-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s12501/c/2/C\"><num value=\"C\">(C)</num><content> developing protocols and model workplace policies.</content>\n</subparagraph>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id26a1141b-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s12501/d\"><num value=\"d\" class=\"bold\">(d)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Liability</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">The compliance or noncompliance of any employer or labor organization with any protocol or policy developed by an entity or organization under this section shall not serve as a basis for liability in tort, express or implied contract, or by any other means. No protocol or policy developed by an entity or organization under this section shall be referenced or enforced as a workplace safety standard by any Federal, State, or other governmental agency.</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id26a1141c-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s12501/e\"><num value=\"e\" class=\"bold\">(e)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Authorization of appropriations</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">There is authorized to be appropriated to carry out this section $1,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2014 through 2018.</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id26a1141d-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s12501/f\"><num value=\"f\" class=\"bold\">(f)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Availability of grant funds</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">Funds appropriated under this section shall remain available until expended.</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<sourceCredit id=\"id26a1141e-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\">(<ref href=\"/us/pl/103/322/tIV/s41501\">Pub.
