The full registration period is—</chapeau><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id26c9d225-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s20915/a/1\"><num value=\"1\">(1)</num><content> 15 years, if the offender is a tier I sex offender;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id26c9d226-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s20915/a/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><content> 25 years, if the offender is a tier II sex offender; and</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"id26c9d227-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s20915/a/3\"><num value=\"3\">(3)</num><content> the life of the offender, if the offender is a tier III sex offender.</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id26c9d228-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s20915/b\"><num value=\"b\" class=\"bold\">(b)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Reduced period for clean record</heading><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id26c9d229-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s20915/b/1\"><num value=\"1\" class=\"bold\">(1)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Clean record</heading><chapeau style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">The full registration period shall be reduced as described in paragraph (3) for a sex offender who maintains a clean record for the period described in paragraph (2) by—</chapeau><subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"id26c9f93a-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s20915/b/1/A\"><num value=\"A\">(A)</num><content> not being convicted of any offense for which imprisonment for more than 1 year may be imposed;</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"id26c9f93b-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s20915/b/1/B\"><num value=\"B\">(B)</num><content> not being convicted of any sex offense;</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"id26c9f93c-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s20915/b/1/C\"><num value=\"C\">(C)</num><content> successfully completing any periods of supervised release, probation, and parole; and</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"id26c9f93d-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s20915/b/1/D\"><num value=\"D\">(D)</num><content> successfully completing of <ref class=\"footnoteRef\" idref=\"fn002177\">1</ref><note type=\"footnote\" id=\"fn002177\"><num>1</num> So in original. The word “of” probably should not appear.</note> an appropriate sex offender treatment program certified by a jurisdiction or by the Attorney General.</content>\n</subparagraph>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id26c9f93e-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s20915/b/2\"><num value=\"2\" class=\"bold\">(2)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Period</heading><chapeau style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">In the case of—</chapeau><subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"id26c9f93f-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s20915/b/2/A\"><num value=\"A\">(A)</num><content> a tier I sex offender, the period during which the clean record shall be maintained is 10 years; and</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"id26c9f940-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s20915/b/2/B\"><num value=\"B\">(B)</num><content> a tier III sex offender adjudicated delinquent for the offense which required registration in a sex registry under this subchapter, the period during which the clean record shall be maintained is 25 years.</content>\n</subparagraph>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I79\" class=\"indent3 firstIndent-2\" id=\"id26c9f941-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s20915/b/3\"><num value=\"3\" class=\"bold\">(3)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Reduction</heading><chapeau style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\">In the case of—</chapeau><subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"id26c9f942-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s20915/b/3/A\"><num value=\"A\">(A)</num><content> a tier I sex offender, the reduction is 5 years;</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"id26c9f943-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s20915/b/3/B\"><num value=\"B\">(B)</num><content> a tier III sex offender adjudicated delinquent, the reduction is from life to that period for which the clean record under paragraph (2) is maintained.</content>\n</subparagraph>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<sourceCredit id=\"id26c9f944-0f21-11eb-9212-a1a9175aa019\">(<ref href=\"/us/pl/109/248/tI/s115\">Pub.
