<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I79" class="indent3 firstIndent-2" id="id158127b2-8160-11e9-8f35-c624b526f388" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s30304/a/2"><num value="2" class="bold">(2)</num><heading class="bold"> Training and education</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1">The National Institute of Corrections shall conduct periodic training and education programs for Federal, State, and local authorities responsible for the prevention, investigation, and punishment of instances of prison rape.</p>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I19" class="indent2 firstIndent-2" id="id158127b3-8160-11e9-8f35-c624b526f388" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s30304/b"><num value="b" class="bold">(b)</num><heading class="bold"> Reports</heading><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I79" class="indent3 firstIndent-2" id="id158127b4-8160-11e9-8f35-c624b526f388" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s30304/b/1"><num value="1" class="bold">(1)</num><heading class="bold"> In general</heading><content><p style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1">Not later than September 30 of each year, the National Institute of Corrections shall submit a report to Congress and the Secretary of Health and Human Services. This report shall be available to the Director of the Bureau of Justice Statistics.</p>
