<ref href=\"/us/stat/107/1536\">107 Stat. 1536</ref>);</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"ide3b1f87e-4aa6-11eb-b55f-d70c2cfce33a\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s40314/b/1/D\"><num value=\"D\">(D)</num><content> the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 (<ref href=\"/us/pl/103/322\">Public Law 103–322</ref>; <ref href=\"/us/stat/108/2074\">108 Stat. 2074</ref>) or any amendment made by that Act;</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"ide3b1f87f-4aa6-11eb-b55f-d70c2cfce33a\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s40314/b/1/E\"><num value=\"E\">(E)</num><content> the United States Housing Act of 1937 (<ref href=\"/us/usc/t42/s1437\">42 U.S.C. 1437</ref> et seq.); or</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"ide3b1f880-4aa6-11eb-b55f-d70c2cfce33a\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s40314/b/1/F\"><num value=\"F\">(F)</num><content> the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 (<ref href=\"/us/usc/t25/s4101\">25 U.S.C. 4101</ref> et seq.); or</content>\n</subparagraph>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"ide3b1f881-4aa6-11eb-b55f-d70c2cfce33a\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s40314/b/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><content> any direct access to Federal criminal history records authorized by law.</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"ide3b1f882-4aa6-11eb-b55f-d70c2cfce33a\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s40314/c\"><num value=\"c\" class=\"bold\">(c)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Authority of FBI under Departments of State, Justice, and Commerce, the Judiciary, and Related Agencies Appropriation Act, 1973</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">Nothing in the Compact shall be construed to affect the authority of the FBI under the Departments of State, Justice, and Commerce, the Judiciary, and Related Agencies Appropriation Act, 1973 (<ref href=\"/us/pl/92/544\">Public Law 92–544</ref> (<ref href=\"/us/stat/86/1115\">86 Stat. 1115</ref>)).</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"ide3b1f883-4aa6-11eb-b55f-d70c2cfce33a\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s40314/d\"><num value=\"d\" class=\"bold\">(d)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Federal Advisory Committee Act</heading><content><p style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">The Council shall not be considered to be a Federal advisory committee for purposes of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (5 U.S.C. App.).</p>\n</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I19\" class=\"indent2 firstIndent-2\" id=\"ide3b1f884-4aa6-11eb-b55f-d70c2cfce33a\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s40314/e\"><num value=\"e\" class=\"bold\">(e)</num><heading class=\"bold\"> Members of Council not Federal officers or employees</heading><chapeau style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\">Members of the Council (other than a member from the FBI or any at-large member who may be a Federal official or employee) shall not, by virtue of such membership, be deemed—</chapeau><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"ide3b1f885-4aa6-11eb-b55f-d70c2cfce33a\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s40314/e/1\"><num value=\"1\">(1)</num><content> to be, for any purpose other than to effect the Compact, officers or employees of the United States (as defined in sections 2104 and 2105 of title 5); or</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"ide3b1f886-4aa6-11eb-b55f-d70c2cfce33a\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t34/s40314/e/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><content> to become entitled by reason of Council membership to any compensation or benefit payable or made available by the Federal Government to its officers or employees.</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<sourceCredit id=\"ide3b1f887-4aa6-11eb-b55f-d70c2cfce33a\">(<ref href=\"/us/pl/105/251/tII/s215\">Pub.
