<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id15968488-8160-11e9-8f35-c624b526f388" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s60104"><num value="60104">§ 60104.</num><heading> Enforcement</heading>
<chapeau style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">Any person who is found in violation of the regulations established by sections 60101 to 60104 of this title shall—</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id15968489-8160-11e9-8f35-c624b526f388" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s60104/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> be liable to the United States for a civil penalty in an amount not to exceed $10,000 for each violation and, in addition, to the United States for the costs of prosecution; and</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id1596848a-8160-11e9-8f35-c624b526f388" identifier="/us/usc/t34/s60104/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> make restitution to any entity of the United States, of a State, or of an inferior political subdivision of a State, which expends funds for the purpose of apprehending any violent prisoner who escapes from a prisoner transport company as the result, in whole or in part, of a violation of regulations promulgated pursuant to <ref href="/us/usc/t34/s60103/a">section 60103(a) of this title</ref>.</content>
