<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="id8f0943bc-2e14-11e4-b127-c8ba1d094f32" identifier="/us/usc/t39/s406"><num value="406">§ 406.</num><heading> Postal services at Armed Forces installations</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="id8f0943bd-2e14-11e4-b127-c8ba1d094f32" identifier="/us/usc/t39/s406/a"><num value="a">(a)</num><content> The Postal Service may establish branch post offices at camps, posts, bases, or stations of the Armed Forces and at defense or other strategic installations.</content>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="id8f0943be-2e14-11e4-b127-c8ba1d094f32" identifier="/us/usc/t39/s406/b"><num value="b">(b)</num><content> The Secretaries of Defense and Transportation shall make arrangements with the Postal Service to perform postal services through personnel designated by them at or through branch post offices established under subsection (a) of this section.</content>
