The individual shall indicate acceptance of jurisdiction on behalf of the Government by filing a notice of acceptance with the Governor of the State or in another manner prescribed by the laws of the State where the land is situated.</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\" id=\"id388475c6-56ae-11e3-9436-86e561d18d41\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s3112/c\"><num value=\"c\">(c)</num><heading> <inline class=\"small-caps\">Presumption</inline>.—</heading><content>It is conclusively presumed that jurisdiction has not been accepted until the Government accepts jurisdiction over land as provided in this section.</content>\n</subsection>\n<sourceCredit id=\"id388475c7-56ae-11e3-9436-86e561d18d41\">(<ref href=\"/us/pl/107/217\">Pub.
