<chapeau style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0">The Administrator of General Services may authorize the abandonment or destruction of property, or the donation of property to a public body, if—</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id38526985-56ae-11e3-9436-86e561d18d41" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s527/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> the property has no commercial value; or</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="id38526986-56ae-11e3-9436-86e561d18d41" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s527/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> the estimated cost of continued care and handling exceeds the estimated proceeds from sale.</content>
