and</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"idf0adf04f-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s6111/a/1/B\"><num value=\"B\">(B)</num><content> the supplying of all mechanical furnishings and mechanical equipment for the Building.</content>\n</subparagraph>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idf0adf050-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s6111/a/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><heading> <inline class=\"small-caps\">Operation and maintenance</inline>.—</heading><content>The Architect shall direct the operation and maintenance of the mechanical equipment and repair of the building.</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idf0adf051-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s6111/a/3\"><num value=\"3\">(3)</num><heading> <inline class=\"small-caps\">Contract authority</inline>.—</heading><content>The Architect may enter into all necessary contracts to carry out this subsection.</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\" id=\"idf0adf052-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s6111/b\"><num value=\"b\">(b)</num><heading> <inline class=\"small-caps\">Availability of Appropriations</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>Amounts appropriated under—</chapeau><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idf0adf053-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s6111/b/1\"><num value=\"1\">(1)</num><chapeau> subsection (a) and sections 6112 and 6113 of this title are available for—</chapeau><subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"idf0adf054-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s6111/b/1/A\"><num value=\"A\">(A)</num><content> expenses of heating and air-conditioning refrigeration supplied by the Capitol Power Plant, advancements for which shall be made and deposited in the Treasury to the credit of appropriations provided for the Capitol Power Plant; and</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"idf0adf055-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s6111/b/1/B\"><num value=\"B\">(B)</num><content> the purchase of electrical energy; and</content>\n</subparagraph>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idf0adf056-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s6111/b/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><chapeau> the heading “Supreme Court of the United States” and “care of the building and grounds” are available for—</chapeau><subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"idf0adf057-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s6111/b/2/A\"><num value=\"A\">(A)</num><content> improvements, maintenance, repairs, equipment, supplies, materials, and appurtenances;</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"idf0adf058-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s6111/b/2/B\"><num value=\"B\">(B)</num><content> special clothing for workers;</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"idf0adf059-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s6111/b/2/C\"><num value=\"C\">(C)</num><content> personal and other services (including temporary labor without regard to chapter 51, subchapter III of chapter 53, and subchapter III of chapter 83, of title 5); and</content>\n</subparagraph>\n<subparagraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I13\" class=\"indent2\" id=\"idf0ae176a-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s6111/b/2/D\"><num value=\"D\">(D)</num><chapeau> without compliance with section 6101(b) to (d) of title 41—</chapeau><clause style=\"-uslm-lc:I14\" class=\"indent3\" id=\"idf0ae176b-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s6111/b/2/D/i\"><num value=\"i\">(i)</num><content> for snow removal (by hire of personnel and equipment or under contract);
