L. 114–318, § 3(a), Dec. 16, 2016, 130 Stat. 1612.)","seq_in_title":87,"parent_identifier":"/us/usc/t40/stI/ch5/schVII","ancestors":[{"identifier":"/us/usc/t40","level":"title","num":"Title 40—","heading":"PUBLIC BUILDINGS, PROPERTY, AND WORKS","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t40/stI","level":"subtitle","num":"SUBTITLE I—","heading":"FEDERAL PROPERTY AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t40/stI/ch5","level":"chapter","num":"CHAPTER 5—","heading":"PROPERTY MANAGEMENT","status":null,"is_section":false},{"identifier":"/us/usc/t40/stI/ch5/schVII","level":"subchapter","num":"SUBCHAPTER VII—","heading":"PROPERTY MANAGEMENT","status":null,"is_section":false}],"xml":"<section xmlns=\"http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0\" xmlns:xsi=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance\" xmlns:dc=\"http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/\" xmlns:dcterms=\"http://purl.org/dc/terms/\" style=\"-uslm-lc:I80\" id=\"idf09b2c17-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s624\"><num value=\"624\">§ 624.</num><heading> Information on certain leasing authorities</heading><subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\" id=\"idf09b2c18-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s624/a\"><num value=\"a\">(a)</num><heading> <inline class=\"small-caps\">In General</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>Except as provided in subsection (b), not later than December 31 of each year following the date of enactment of this subchapter, a Federal agency with independent leasing authority shall submit to the Council a list of all leases, including operating leases, in effect on the date of enactment of this subchapter that includes—</chapeau><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idf09b5329-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s624/a/1\"><num value=\"1\">(1)</num><content> the date on which each lease was executed;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idf09b532a-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s624/a/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><content> the date on which each lease will expire;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idf09b532b-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s624/a/3\"><num value=\"3\">(3)</num><content> a description of the size of the space;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idf09b532c-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s624/a/4\"><num value=\"4\">(4)</num><content> the location of the property;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idf09b532d-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s624/a/5\"><num value=\"5\">(5)</num><content> the tenant agency;</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idf09b532e-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s624/a/6\"><num value=\"6\">(6)</num><content> the total annual rental payment; and</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idf09b532f-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s624/a/7\"><num value=\"7\">(7)</num><content> the amount of the net present value of the total estimated legal obligations of the Federal Government over the life of the contract.</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\" id=\"idf09b5330-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s624/b\"><num value=\"b\">(b)</num><heading> <inline class=\"small-caps\">Exception</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>Subsection (a) shall not apply to—</chapeau><paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idf09b5331-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s624/b/1\"><num value=\"1\">(1)</num><content> the United States Postal Service; or</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idf09b5332-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s624/b/2\"><num value=\"2\">(2)</num><content> any other property the Director excludes from subsection (a) for reasons of national security.</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<sourceCredit id=\"idf09b5333-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\">(Added <ref href=\"/us/pl/114/318/s3/a\">Pub.
