<section xmlns="http://xml.house.gov/schemas/uslm/1.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:dcterms="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" style="-uslm-lc:I80" id="idf6a721c0-ec38-11e5-b5ef-b264b7b013b1" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s703"><num value="703">§ 703.</num><heading> Donation of medical supplies for use in foreign country</heading><subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="idf6a721c1-ec38-11e5-b5ef-b264b7b013b1" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s703/a"><num value="a">(a)</num><heading> <inline class="small-caps">Application</inline>.—</heading><content>This section applies to medical materials or supplies that are in a foreign country but that would, if situated within the United States, be available for donation under subchapter III of chapter 5 of this title.</content>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="idf6a721c2-ec38-11e5-b5ef-b264b7b013b1" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s703/b"><num value="b">(b)</num><heading> <inline class="small-caps">In General</inline>.—</heading><content>An executive agency may donate medical materials or supplies that are not disposed of under <ref href="/us/usc/t40/s702">section 702 of this title</ref>.</content>

<subsection style="-uslm-lc:I11" class="indent0" id="idf6a721c3-ec38-11e5-b5ef-b264b7b013b1" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s703/c"><num value="c">(c)</num><heading> <inline class="small-caps">Conditions</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>A donation under this section is subject to the following conditions:</chapeau><paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idf6a721c4-ec38-11e5-b5ef-b264b7b013b1" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s703/c/1"><num value="1">(1)</num><content> The medical materials and supplies must be donated for use in a foreign country.</content>
</paragraph>
<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idf6a721c5-ec38-11e5-b5ef-b264b7b013b1" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s703/c/2"><num value="2">(2)</num><content> The donation must be made to a nonprofit medical or health organization, which may be an organization qualified to receive assistance under section 214(b) or 607 of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 (<ref href="/us/usc/t22/s2174/b">22 U.S.C. 2174(b)</ref>, 2357).</content>

<paragraph style="-uslm-lc:I12" class="indent1" id="idf6a721c6-ec38-11e5-b5ef-b264b7b013b1" identifier="/us/usc/t40/s703/c/3"><num value="3">(3)</num><content> The donation must be made without cost to the donee (except for costs of care and handling).</content>
