and</content>\n</paragraph>\n<paragraph style=\"-uslm-lc:I12\" class=\"indent1\" id=\"idf0c04008-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s8904/a/8\"><num value=\"8\">(8)</num><content> the Secretary of Defense.</content>\n</paragraph>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\" id=\"idf0c04009-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s8904/b\"><num value=\"b\">(b)</num><heading> <inline class=\"small-caps\">Chairman</inline>.—</heading><content>The Director is the Chairman of the National Capital Memorial Advisory Commission.</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\" id=\"idf0c0400a-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s8904/c\"><num value=\"c\">(c)</num><heading> <inline class=\"small-caps\">Advisory Role</inline>.—</heading><content>The National Capital Memorial Advisory Commission shall advise the Secretary of the Interior and the Administrator of General Services (as appropriate) on policy and procedures for establishment of, and proposals to establish, commemorative works in the District of Columbia and its environs and on other matters concerning commemorative works in the Nation’s Capital as the Commission considers appropriate.</content>\n</subsection>\n<subsection style=\"-uslm-lc:I11\" class=\"indent0\" id=\"idf0c0400b-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\" identifier=\"/us/usc/t40/s8904/d\"><num value=\"d\">(d)</num><heading> <inline class=\"small-caps\">Meetings</inline>.—</heading><content>The National Capital Memorial Advisory Commission shall meet at least twice annually.</content>\n</subsection>\n<sourceCredit id=\"idf0c0400c-b211-11e9-9941-df2837ad0631\">(<ref href=\"/us/pl/107/217\">Pub.
